Born and raised in Seattle, Washington.

Attended the University of Washington and Gonzaga University School of Law. 

Hired as Staff Attorney for Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel in 1988. 

Representation of clients charged with Driving without a license to Aggravated Murder.

Supervisory experience includes unit level, division level, and office level.

Currently Director of Assigned Counsel:

-              - approximate staff 100

-              - budget responsibility approximately 14 million

 

Approved by Washington State Supreme Court to represent Capital Offense Clients at Trial Level

 

Board Member of Washington Defender Association

 

Married 24 years and is father to three children.
