Ned Delmore

Director of Services

Kitsap County Juvenile Department

I’m happily married and the father of three healthy, beautiful children, Alycia 30, Emily 27, and Nathan 25.  By the way, my kids still want to talk with me.

I grew up in the heart of Seattle with 10 brothers and sisters.  I went to college on a basketball scholarship and still play a bit.  Finished my undergraduate degree at Central Washington State College and received my Masters Degree from Seattle University in Rehabilitation Counseling.  I am a certified mental health counselor for the State of Washington, as well as, an adjunct professor at Olympic College.  I am currently on the legislative committee for the Juvenile Courts Administrators Association for the State of Washington.

Since 1975 I worked in residential treatment with youth, families, and managed at every level within the juvenile court system.  I continue to be a curious and avid student particularly of scientific approaches to prevention and adolescent and family development.  I was very fortunate to have apprenticed with a number of great teachers.

I am very grateful to have the privilege of serving as the Administrator of the Kitsap County Juvenile Court.  FORMTEXT
